Do you remember the Aston Martin Valkyrie? That road legal hypercar designed by living legend Adrian Newey as part of Aston’s partnership with the Red Bull Racing F1 team? The one that will have 1,100bhp from a screaming V12? They’ve made a track performance pack for that.
But didn’t they already announce the circuit-only AMR Pro for the track-day enthusiasts? (pictured below and you can read the details here).
Yes, only 25 of those are to be produced. The track pack is for the other 150 would-be owners of the £2.5 million Aston Martin Valkyrie to give it two faces – one for the road and one for the track. These new track-only components will be interchangeable with existing road-legal parts which are expected to deliver lap times 8 per cent quicker than the “standard” Valkyrie.
Here’s what comes as part of this AMR Track Performance Pack: new aerodynamic front clam for better downforce, a second set of all other exterior body panels, lightweight titanium breaks, track-focused suspension and a magnesium performance wheel and carbon fibre aero-disk set. An optional on the optional is a suite of personalised race suit and pit garage accessories. If you do opt for this pack you can choose between three AMR livery designs apart from their own unique specification.
Aston Martin has gone all out to allow the customers of the Valkyrie to make their hypercar as personalised as possible. Not only will there be the Personalisation programme apart from the even more special personal spec options via “Q by Aston Martin”, their commission programme. There are even some colours exclusive to the Valkyrie such as the Slipstream Green, Ethanol Silver, Maximum Orange and Liquid Petroleum.
