I have a love for Ferrari road cars and have been since I was a kid who saw the F50 on the cover of Project Gotham Racing. However, I am not familiar with the brand’s rich history of beautiful cars over the last seven decades and that includes something called the 412. Until now. A coach-building company called Ares Design has converted a modern-day GTC4 Lusson to have a retro body and it looks fricking magnificent!
The original Ferrari 400 had a more classic saloon profile unlike the hatchback-breadvan styling of the Ferrari FF or GTC4 four-seaters. The 412 came with a V12 and only 576 were ever made. Ares Design takes inspiration from that styling and crafts it in lightweight carbon fibre to dress up a 690bhp GTC4 Lusso. The tech is the same as well from like the touchscreen infotainment system that has Apple CarPlay compatibility as well.
However, the interiors will be redone with premium quality components and handcrafted leather seats. Even the dash architecture will get hand-stitched features. No word on price yet but as a cool car with ridiculous performance and four seats, this is a special one to add to your dream garage.
