With news of Lamborghini moving the concept unit of the Veneno Coupe to their London showroom for display, lets take a quick glance at one of the rarest and most exotic hypercars ever made.
Only three units were made for sale, sold for almost 4 million US dollars each, the Veneno coupe is one badass looking, road-legal hypercar, that is more edgier than even a batmobile. The roadster version came after, of which nine units were made for sale, allowing this one to retain the title of ‘one of the rarest ever’.
It has all-wheel drive, a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12, same as the Aventador but packs more punch, 740bhp to be precise. That’s enough for a 0-60mph time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 221mph. Sure, the performance figures of this 2013 hypercar aren’t as impressive in 2016, what with the likes of the Bugatti Chiron and Koenigsegg Regera around, but when it comes to exclusivity and sheer visual initmidation, few come as close. Take a look for yourself.
