As a subscriber to the latest news from the Prancing Horse, I too received an email about their latest, soon to be showcased, the GTC4Lusso T.
This ‘entry-level’ GTC4 is their first ever GT car with the 3.9-litre V8 turbo engine, that puts out a staggering 610 bhp and a max torque of 760 Nm from 3000 to 5250 RPM. This ensures sharp response and continuous powerful acceleration all the way up to and beyond 200mph, while enjoying the exhilarating soundtrack of that V8.
The T is rear-wheel-drive, which Ferrari says helps save weight. It also comes 4WS (rear-wheel steering) which should provide nimble and responsive handling around the corners even at high speeds. Even though it doesn’t have 4WD like its older brother with the V12, it should be quite sharp through the turns. It also comes with the latest generation of Slide Slip Control (SSC3) which supposedly helps even the average driver slither around without looking foolish, and is an impressive bit of tech. Clearly, Ferrari has a different standard when they say “entry-level”.
Ferrari says this is the GTC4Lusso for everyday driving. If you’re the sort of person who can use this car for that purpose, know that you are the envy of many many petrolheads.
