The most luxurious and exclusive automotive vehicles make their way from secret collections and manufacturer labs to the public eye during Monterey Car Week in California, USA. With the 2025 edition of Car Week just wrapping up, the automotive world was treated to a host of incredible debuts like the Lamborghini Fenomeno and the Gordon Murray Special Vehicle S1 LM, as well as the assortment of treasures up for auction with RM Sotheby’s.

From the billions of dollars worth of cars, these three are my favourites from this year’s Monterey Car Week.

Bugatti Brouillard

While they work on the successor to the Chiron with a new engine and hybrid assistance, Bugatti is leaning into its history of coachbuilding for some really wealthy patrons through Programme Solitaire. Behold the Bugatti Brouillard! A one-of-one creation that looks a lot like a coupe version of the Bugatti Mistral, powered by a familiar 1600PS W16 quad-turbo powertrain. It gets bespoke aerodynamic details, a glass roof, and unique interior trim finishes like the embroidered horse motifs in the door panels and seat back rests. The name itself pays homage to Ettore Bugatti’s favourite horse, and a matching detail can be found in the gear shifter that features a glass insert containing a miniature hand-crafted sculpture of the same horse.

The Brouillard is thoroughly green inside-out with plenty of matching tinted carbon fibre as well. On the lawns of Quail, this bespoke Bugatti certainly stood out from the rest. The price? Many, many millions.

Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution LF

This one was a surprise, given that the Hennessey Venom F5 made its production-spec debut all the way back in 2021. It has since been released in multiple, even more limited-run iterations — like the Venom F5 Roadster, followed by the coupe and convertible versions of the Venom F5 Revolution. At Monterey Car Week 2025, the American performance marquee revealed a one-of-one version: the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution LF.

What makes it so bespoke? It’s got a 6-speed gated manual transmission for its 6.6-litre twin turbo V8 making 2031bhp. Yep, a 2000+ hrspwrs all-American hypercar with three pedals.

This bespoke model was commissioned by Louis Florey through Hennessey’s Maverick program, who personally specified each detail, including the Cocoa Brown exposed carbon fibre. It’s actually a cocktail of multiple Venom F5 iterations, including the uprated engine and revised aerodynamics from the Venom F5 Revolution Evolution package.

Lexus Sport Concept

If I had to pick the biggest surprise of the week, it’d be this. With almost zero notice, Lexus just pulled the covers off a new two-door sports car concept at Quail during Monterey Car Week. There’s no information about it, except that it previews what will most likely be an all-electric successor to the mighty Lexus LFA. The new Sport Concept looks like an evolved version of the Electrified Sports Concept, which was revealed in early 2024 with talks of new-age battery packs, a 1000bhp, and an engaging all-wheel drive system.

The LFA design cues are in plain sight for the Lexus Sport Concept with its modern-day sculpted aerodynamics integrated into the bodywork, sharp lighting elements, and an illuminated homage to the centrally located triple exhaust. It’s also got this unique element at the top of the rear window – four fans in a diamond shape that suggest a deployable drone.

Interestingly, the short reveal video included some engine sounds at the very end. With a V8-powered Toyota sports GT in the works, there is hope for a noisy LFA successor after all.

These were my top picks from the 2025 Monterey Car Week, but which one’s yours? Let me know in the comments below!
